Projul is construction management software for small and mid-size contractors: remodelers, custom builders, roofers, and specialty trades running real project pipelines. Projul pitches two things hardest. The first is flat pricing with no per-user fees. The second is an all-in-one feature set (CRM, estimating, scheduling, job costing, invoicing) that replaces a pile of separate tools. Here’s what Projul pricing actually looks like, who each tier fits, and where a different platform is the better call.
We read the pricing below from Projul’s pricing page on October 7, 2026. Since our August read, Projul has added a Starter tier and month-to-month billing: it now publishes four tiers with both monthly and annual prices, and says annual billing saves up to 25%. Confirm current numbers with Projul before you buy.
Projul Pricing (2026)
| Plan | Month-to-month | Billed annually (per month) | Annual total | Users | What you add |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $249/mo | $199/mo | $2,388/year | Up to 3 | Lead management, estimating, invoicing, scheduling |
| Core | $529/mo | $399/mo | $4,788/year | Up to 10 | Unlimited projects, CRM & sales tools, estimating, invoicing & payments, scheduling, project management, mobile app, eSignatures, reporting, templates |
| Core+ | $799/mo | $599/mo | $7,188/year | Up to 20 | Everything in Core, plus unlimited subcontractors, change orders, client portal, job costing & budgeting, progress billing, time tracking, Gantt charts, QuickBooks Online integration |
| Pro | $1,599/mo | $1,199/mo | $14,388/year | Unlimited | Everything in Core+, plus unlimited users, purchase orders, assemblies, selections, geofencing, photo reports, service invoicing, QuickBooks Desktop integration, Spanish app translation |
Three pricing details worth knowing before the demo call:
- No per-user fees, but hard seat caps. Projul still prices flat by tier rather than per seat, but every tier now publishes a user limit: Starter up to 3, Core up to 10, Core+ up to 20, Pro unlimited. Adding people past a cap means moving up a tier, so check the cap against your crew size, not just the price.
- Monthly or annual. Per Projul’s pricing page, you can now bill every tier month-to-month and cancel anytime. Annual billing costs less: Core, for example, is $399/month billed annually versus $529/month month-to-month.
- Projul bundles onboarding. Projul lists a “Premium Support Package” — workflow analysis, customized training, data import — at a stated $4,500 value, free with an annual plan on Core, Core+ and Pro (Projul’s page says it excludes Starter). Vendors price these bundles for negotiating room. Still, included data import and training matter if you’re migrating off spreadsheets or another platform.
There’s also a stated 5% discount for veterans, and there’s no self-serve free trial; every tier offers a scheduled demo.
Who Each Projul Pricing Tier Fits
Starter ($199/mo billed annually, or $249 month-to-month; up to 3 users) is the entry point for an owner-operator with a small crew. Projul’s Starter card lists lead management, estimating, invoicing and scheduling, and it does not include the Premium Support Package that annual Core and above get. If you’ll have more than three people in the system within the year, price Core instead.
Core ($4,788/yr, or $529/mo month-to-month; up to 10 users) covers the sales-and-delivery basics: leads in, estimates out, schedule, invoice, get paid. If your bottleneck is chasing estimates and keeping a calendar straight, this covers it. What you don’t get at Core is the financial layer — no job costing, no change orders, no time tracking.
Core+ ($7,188/yr, or $799/mo month-to-month; up to 20 users) is where Projul becomes a construction tool rather than a generic field-service tool: job costing and budgeting, change orders, progress billing, a client portal, and the QuickBooks Online sync. For a remodeler or GC running multi-week jobs, the change-order and progress-billing features pay for the difference. After all, untracked change orders are where margin quietly dies.
Pro ($14,388/yr, or $1,599/mo month-to-month; unlimited users) adds purchase orders, assemblies, selections, and QuickBooks Desktop support. That list reads like a custom-home builder’s requirements sheet. If you’re not doing selections and POs, you probably don’t need Pro.
Where Projul Isn’t the Answer
- Your headcount sits just past a seat cap. Now that monthly billing exists, the seat caps (3, 10, 20) are Projul’s real constraint. For example, an 11-person shop is already past Core and paying Core+ prices. Run your actual headcount against a per-user platform before assuming flat Projul pricing is cheaper.
- You want a published price instead of a sales demo. JobTread publishes its pricing: $199/month plus $20/month per internal user, with 20% off on an annual subscription. It also offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on monthly subscriptions. It’s also the platform we see compared most often in this bracket. Our JobTread vs Buildertrend breakdown covers what real users say about both.
- You’re an established operation wanting the incumbent. Buildertrend no longer publishes plan pricing; it custom-quotes every prospect (pricing page re-read October 15, 2026). It also sits in a different budget class, with the maturity that comes with it.
- You’re service-and-dispatch, not project-based. If your work is calls, dispatch, and same-day tickets rather than multi-week projects, field service platforms like Jobber or Housecall Pro fit that shape better than any construction PM tool, Projul included.

Bottom Line
Projul’s case is strongest for a growing remodeler, custom builder, or specialty contractor with a real crew. There, per-user pricing on competing platforms would eat the difference. Plus, bundled onboarding means your crew actually adopts the software. Its case is weakest if you want a self-serve trial, if your headcount sits just past a seat cap, or if your work is service tickets rather than projects. Priced per-seat-free and compared honestly against what else is out there, it earns a spot on the demo shortlist for project-based shops.
