At its Pantheon user conference in Orlando on October 6, ServiceTitan announced three things that matter to a shop owner. First, the ServiceTitan Max AI package is now available to every residential in-home contractor. Second, there is a new mobile app called Atlas. Third, there is a consumer platform called Homh, designed to get contractors booked from inside ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude. The release puts no price on any of the three.
What ServiceTitan Max actually is
ServiceTitan calls Max “the fully loaded version” of its Agentic Operating System. The idea is to stop automating one workflow at a time. Its agents draw on context across demand, field and office. Then they act across connected workflows. As of October 6, Max is available to every residential in-home contractor. That covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical and the rest of the in-home trades.
Commercial and roofing contractors get a limited pilot instead of general availability. The wording inside that pilot is worth reading closely. ServiceTitan says it pairs Atlas and core automations with agents already live in the field. Those are a site-walk and findings write-up copilot, a daily log agent and an invoice review agent. It then lists four more: an agreement review agent, touchless AP autopilot, a collections agent and an AFP recommendation advisor. Those four carry the phrase “expected to come soon.”
So treat those four as roadmap until a rep shows you otherwise. If a rep pitches you, the question is simple. Which of these can I use next week?
Atlas puts the dashboard on your phone
Atlas is a mobile app that puts your business’s insights and agents on your phone. According to ServiceTitan, an owner can ask about sales performance or revenue. An owner can also ask why a number moved. The answer is grounded in the same company-wide data that runs the rest of the business. That beats waiting on a static report.
That is a real pain point if you have ever chased a straight answer from a reporting module at night. Whether Atlas answers well, however, nobody outside ServiceTitan can tell you yet.
Homh is the interesting one
Homh is a consumer platform. It makes selected ServiceTitan contractors discoverable and bookable where homeowners, or their AI assistants, now search. ServiceTitan says it is available at homh.com and works with ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude. It carries objective performance signals, real-time availability and confirmed appointment booking straight into ServiceTitan.
Strip the language and this is a lead channel, much like Angi or Thumbtack, with a different front door. That comparison is our read, not ServiceTitan’s. The questions are the ones you would ask any lead source. Who gets in? What does it cost? Who owns the customer? ServiceTitan says “selected” and “high-performing” without defining either, and the release names no price. Until it does, treat Homh as something to watch, not a plan.
It also helps to separate two different problems. Homh is about getting found. If your gap is that the phone rings and nobody picks up, a new discovery channel makes it worse. Start with answering the calls you already get, and tools like Rosie are built for exactly that.
The rest of the announcement
ServiceTitan also expanded its partner ecosystem. AI CSRs get access to Adaptive Capacity, which the release calls the intelligence behind ServiceTitan’s own scheduling. The Ramp partnership announced September 30 now has a direct integration. In the release’s words, it “gives contractors a clear view of job profitability without manual reconciliation.” Suppliers can self-onboard through a new portal, with several major distributors and manufacturers already live. Financing preapprovals arrive through Prescreen, built with GreenSky, and QuickScreen, Synchrony’s firm offer of credit.
What to do with ServiceTitan Max
Co-founder and president Vahe Kuzoyan put the job this way: “giving AI agents the context to understand each business, the ability to work alongside its people, and clear rules for when to act and when to ask.” That last clause is the right standard. Hold any agentic tool to it, including this one.
The most useful sentence in the whole announcement, though, sits in ServiceTitan’s own legal fine print:
“Products, services or features described in this press release that are not currently generally available, including those described as ‘coming soon,’ may not be delivered on the anticipated timeline or at all. Purchasing decisions should be based on products, services and features that are currently generally available.”
In other words, the vendor is telling you not to buy the roadmap. Take it. If you already run ServiceTitan, ask three things. What does Max cost on your plan? Which agents are generally available to you today? What happens to the price at renewal? If you are still shopping, start with what the core platform costs today. Our piece on the adoption gap covers buying AI versus getting value from it. Nothing in this release is quotable as a cost. A platform decision you cannot price is one you cannot make yet.
