Pressure washing is a low-barrier trade with a high-volume sales problem. A rig, a surface cleaner, a soft-wash setup and a trailer get you in business; what separates the operators who stay in business is how fast they quote, how many quotes they follow up, and whether they turn one-time driveway jobs into recurring commercial accounts. The software question is therefore less about scheduling — any of these tools will schedule — and more about the quoting-and-follow-up layer. This guide covers both halves: the field service platforms that publish a pressure washing page, and the quoting tool that bolts onto most of them.
The short version
- One truck, getting started: Markate (not an affiliate) at $49.95 a month with no contract, or Jobber Core at $29 a month on an annual plan. Both publish a pressure washing page.
- Two to five people, residential and light commercial: Jobber’s 2–5 band or Housecall Pro Essentials — both land at $149 a month on annual billing with five users.
- Your bottleneck is quoting and follow-up, not scheduling: add ResponsiBid (not an affiliate) on top of whichever CRM you pick. It has a free tier, and its paid plans at $179 and $229 a month connect to Jobber, Housecall Pro, and Markate.
What pressure washing software actually has to do
Quote from a photo and a square-footage number. Most exterior cleaning is priced by the surface — driveway, house wash, roof soft-wash, deck, fence, commercial flatwork — with a per-square-foot or per-linear-foot rate and adjustments for stories, access, and how bad it is. A tool that lets the customer (or you, on the phone) plug in the surfaces and get a price is what turns website traffic into booked jobs without a site visit. That is ResponsiBid’s whole product. Inside the general platforms you build it yourself with a price book of surfaces and rates; Housecall Pro’s visual price book (Essentials) and Jobber’s quote line items both work for this, but neither is built around a homeowner self-quoting on your website the way ResponsiBid is.
Follow up relentlessly. A house-wash quote that sits unanswered for a week is usually a lost job. Automated quote follow-ups are the single highest-value feature for this trade. Jobber puts “automate quote and invoice follow-ups” on Connect (not Core); ResponsiBid’s entire paid tier is built around email and text follow-up sequences; Markate includes automated follow-ups in its base plan.
Recurring commercial work. The path out of driveway-to-driveway is commercial maintenance: storefront sidewalks, dumpster pads, drive-throughs, fleet washing, HOA common areas on a monthly or quarterly schedule. That needs recurring jobs, a customer-level contract, and invoicing that runs itself. Every general platform here does recurring scheduling; check in the trial that a quarterly contract generates its visits and invoices automatically. Our commercial cleaning bid guide covers the bidding side of that shift.
Reviews and the neighborhood effect. Exterior cleaning is visible from the street, which makes it one of the most referral-driven trades. Automated review requests after each job matter more here than in most trades. Markate sells review requests as a $10-a-month add-on and integrates with NiceJob; ResponsiBid also lists a NiceJob integration.
Chemicals and job notes. Soft washing is a chemistry job — sodium hypochlorite ratios, surfactants, downstreaming versus a dedicated pump — and the notes on what mix worked on which surface at which house are worth keeping per property. Job checklists and photo attachments handle this; every platform here has them in some form.
Pressure washing software compared
Entry price is the lowest published tier. Read the billing basis — several vendors show a number that only applies on an annual commitment. ResponsiBid is not a CRM; it is a quoting layer that connects to one.
| Tool | Entry price | Billing basis | Users at that price | Pressure washing page? | Affiliate? |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jobber | $29/mo | Annual (month-to-month is $49/mo) | 1 (“Just me” plan) | Yes | Yes |
| Housecall Pro | $59/mo | Annual (month-to-month is $79/mo; checked October 15, 2026 on the most-trades pricing path) | 1 | Yes | Yes |
| Markate | $39.95/mo | Annual, paid up front ($479.40/yr); $49.95/mo month-to-month | Owner only; +$5/employee/mo | Yes | No |
| ResponsiBid (quoting layer) | Free | Monthly; paid tiers $179 and $229/mo plus a one-time setup fee the page does not quantify | 1 admin + unlimited sub-users | Yes — pressure washing is a named core industry | No |
| FieldCamp | Not published (quote only) | Monthly or annual, priced per quote | Not published (seats set in the quote; vendor states no per-seat list price) | No | Yes |
| Service Fusion | Quote only | Not published — quoted on a demo (vendor page checked October 15, 2026) | Unlimited | Yes | Yes |
All prices USD, read September 6, 2026 on each vendor’s own pricing page (Housecall Pro month-to-month figures read August 23, 2026). Service Fusion publishes no prices (checked October 15, 2026; the September 29 figures were removed). ServiceTitan does not list a pressure washing industry page and is not included.
Markate
Markate (not an affiliate) has a following in exterior cleaning for a reason: it is cheap, it has no contract, and it publishes a pressure washing page. The Owner Operator plan is $49.95 a month, or $39.95 a month if you pay $479.40 for the year up front; adding a crew member is $5 per employee per month on top. The base includes estimates with option and package tiers, automated follow-ups, invoicing and online payments through Square, job costing, time tracking, and QuickBooks Online sync — a lot for the price.
The trade-off is the add-on menu. Online booking, automated review requests, a branded customer portal, a business phone number, call forwarding, Zapier, the NiceJob integration, and the ResponsiBid integration are each $10 a month; the Kate AI receptionist is $1 per call. A one-truck operator who wants booking, reviews, and ResponsiBid connected is at roughly $80 a month month-to-month — still competitive, but not $49.95. Fit: solo and two-person operations, especially those planning to run ResponsiBid on top. Skip it if you are past five people and need role-based dispatch — that is where the bigger platforms earn their price.
Jobber
Jobber publishes a pressure washing page and prices by team size. Solo: Core $49 a month ($29 annual), Connect $139/$99, Grow $199/$149. Two to five people: Core is not offered; Connect is $199/$149 with five users, Grow is $299/$229, and Plus is $499/$399 by sales contact. The tier that matters for pressure washing is Connect, because that is where automated quote follow-ups, automatic payment collection, and QuickBooks Online sync begin — Core will schedule and invoice but will not chase your quotes for you. Grow adds optional line items on quotes (your “house wash / house wash plus driveway” upsell), job costing, and two-way SMS. Jobber is also one of the CRMs ResponsiBid connects to natively. Every band is in our Jobber pricing guide.
Fit: operators who want one polished system and are willing to pay for Connect. Skip Core if follow-up is your problem — it is not on that plan.
Housecall Pro
Housecall Pro has a pressure washing page and three tiers: Basic $59 a month annual for one user, Essentials $149 annual for up to five users ($189 month-to-month, based on the $40 saving the page shows), and MAX $299 annual for eight users. Per-seat pricing for extra users exists but the rate shown differed between our reads; confirm on the page. Essentials brings the visual price book — photos on each surface-cleaning service, which is exactly how you show a homeowner the difference between a pressure wash and a soft wash — plus QuickBooks import. Housecall Pro is also a native ResponsiBid connection. Fit: two-to-five-person crews; pick against Jobber’s 2–5 band on interface preference after a trial of each. Our Jobber vs Housecall Pro comparison walks the plan structures.
ResponsiBid: the quoting layer
ResponsiBid (not an affiliate) is not a CRM and does not pretend to be one — it will not schedule crews, send invoices, or run payroll. What it does is put an instant-quote calculator on your website, price jobs off surface and property inputs with tiered service levels and auto-upsells, run automated email and text follow-up on every quote, and let customers self-schedule into your connected CRM’s calendar. Pressure washing is one of the industries it names as a core fit.
Pricing as published: a Startup plan that is free, a Scaling plan at $179 a month, and a Pro plan at $229 a month. The FAQ confirms a one-time setup fee on paid plans covering hands-on onboarding, but the amount is not on the pricing page — ask before you sign. It connects to Jobber, Housecall Pro, Markate, The Customer Factor, ServiceMonster, and Google Calendar, plus NiceJob for reviews and Zapier. There is a seasonal pause option at $50 a month for up to four months on monthly plans, which matters if you shut down for winter. Fit: any operator whose lead flow outruns their ability to quote and follow up by hand. Skip it if you are doing fewer than a handful of quotes a week — the free tier or your CRM’s own quoting is enough until volume forces the issue.
Also on the list
Service Fusion (affiliate) publishes a pressure wash business page and, as of October 15, 2026, publishes no prices on its pricing page; Starter, Plus and Pro are quoted on a demo. Ask for a quote and compare it on features, not against the per-seat rows in the table.
FieldCamp (affiliate) has no pressure washing page and, as of September 29, 2026, publishes no prices: its four tiers (Pro, Growth, Scale, Enterprise) are quoted after a sales call, and the vendor’s own FAQ says it does not charge a per-seat list price. Get a quote and compare it against the priced rows in the table.
ServiceTitan does not list a pressure washing industry page and publishes no prices; it is built for large HVAC, plumbing, and electrical shops and is not a fit here.
How to choose
Decide where your bottleneck is. If you are losing jobs because quotes go out slowly or never get followed up, the highest-return dollar is ResponsiBid on top of a cheap CRM — Markate or Jobber Core — not a more expensive CRM. If you are losing time to scheduling chaos with a crew of three or more, Jobber’s 2–5 band or Housecall Pro Essentials is the answer and ResponsiBid is optional.
Then check three things in a trial: (1) can you build a surface-based price book and quote a house wash plus driveway in under two minutes from a phone; (2) does a quarterly commercial contract generate its own visits and invoices; (3) what is the real monthly cost at your headcount, with add-ons and any setup fee included, on the billing cycle you will actually choose.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best pressure washing business software for a one-person operation?
Markate at $49.95 a month with no contract, or Jobber Core at $29 a month on an annual plan, are the two lowest-cost options that publish a pressure washing page. Markate includes automated follow-ups in its base price; on Jobber that feature starts at Connect ($99 a month annual for a solo operator).
Do I need a separate quoting tool like ResponsiBid?
Not at first. Every CRM here can send a quote. ResponsiBid earns its price when you want homeowners to self-quote on your website and want every quote followed up automatically without you touching it — typically once quote volume is high enough that follow-up is falling through the cracks. It has a free tier to start on.
Which pressure wash software works for recurring commercial accounts?
Jobber, Housecall Pro, Markate, and Service Fusion all support recurring jobs and invoicing. Verify in a trial that a monthly or quarterly contract generates its visits and invoices automatically rather than requiring you to re-create the job each time.
How much does pressure washing software cost?
Published entry prices run from $29 a month (Jobber Core, solo, annual) to $49.95 month-to-month (Markate) to $59 (Housecall Pro Basic, annual). A crew of two to five should expect about $149 a month on annual terms on either Jobber or Housecall Pro. ResponsiBid adds $0, $179, or $229 a month on top depending on tier, plus a setup fee on paid plans.
